Paul Cherry

Managing Director & Co-Founder

Paul brings the discipline of a professional athlete and the strategic mind of a financial expert to the Spanish real estate market. Before founding Chersun in 2005, Paul enjoyed a distinguished career as a professional footballer in Scotland, playing for Heart of Midlothian, St Johnstone, and Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

It was during his time at St Johnstone that Paul’s entrepreneurial spirit took hold, leading him to establish a successful Independent Financial Services business. This background ensures that Chersun operates with a level of financial integrity and due diligence that is second to none. Paul’s passion for the region and his straightforward, honest approach have made him a trusted face in the industry, even appearing on the popular TV series "A Place in the Sun" to share his expertise with a global audience.

Nicola Jane Cherry

Administration & Operations Manager | Co-Founder

Nicola is the organizational heart of Chersun Properties. Originally from Scotland, where she successfully co-owned and managed the family’s financial services business, Nicola relocated to Murcia with Paul and daughter Suzanne in 2004. With over 20 years of local residency, she offers clients a level of insight that only a long-term resident can provide. Her background in finance is a vital asset, bringing a level of precision and transparency to the Spanish administrative process that is rare in the industry.

Suzanne Cherry

Sales Manager & Local Expert

Suzanne represents the "Best of Both Worlds" for our clients. Moving to Murcia at the age of 12 in 2004, she was immersed in Spanish culture from a young age, attending the prestigious El Limonar International School (ELIS) Murcia. After completing her education at 16, she joined the family business in 2007, bringing a fresh, modern perspective to the company.

Fluent in Spanish and married to a Spaniard, Suzanne is deeply integrated into the local community. As a mother of two daughters, she understands the practicalities of family life in Spain—from schools to healthcare—making her an invaluable resource for families looking to relocate. Suzanne manages our sales and digital presence, ensuring that Chersun remains at the forefront of the Murcia property market.
